Our Beliefs
Developing Servant Leaders
We work together to grow leaders who will serve their local and global communities and God's creation in and beyond Horton Center with peace, compassion, and a vision for a just world.
Cultivating Courageous Community
At Horton Center we endeavor to invite all God's people in to experience the radically inclusive hospitality of Christian community. No matter who you are, or you where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
Exploring Your Beliefs
Horton Center is a place where people can get away from the busyness of their day-to-day lives to reconnect with themselves, explore their beliefs and values, and experience restful and rejuvenating peace and joy through worship, song, and community.
Our Leadership
Tivvi Pare has been deeply connected to Horton Center since childhood, attending as a camper from 3rd to 12th grade and joining the staff after high school. She became the Executive Director in the fall of 2023. Tivvi is passionate about creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where campers can explore their faith, build community, and grow as servant leaders. A graduate of Clemson University with degrees in Elementary Education and Teaching and Learning, she loves singing around the campfire, hiking with her dog Zimmi, and enjoying the natural beauty of Horton Center.
